Assuming the interface between the SAP and Hard disk. Trying to seek clarification why new SAP CS is needed? Does new CR with configuration will not help? Only fresh documents needs to stored in the data store. As you rightly said the existing configuration and server should be still in parallel to new one to access new documents from new hard drive.
